All though I was rooting for trump,I did not actually believe he had a chance, and neither did the polls,
Was this because the media was just biased against him,?
Do they actually just cook numbers as trump suggested?
Or we're voters dishonest (ashamed they would seem racist) during polling ?
Or some other reason

The scary thing is that Hillary "almost" won. It tells you the poor thinking and poor education of american people, half of the americans are refusing to use brains... Don't make me wrong, Trump is not the most charismatic person, but at the same time - who with sane mind would vote for Hillary, especially when she is under FBI investigation? That is insane. And who would even consider socialist Sanders for President?

Trump represents success. Sanders represents the opposite, all the "free" stuff for nothing. Clinton represents failure, 30 years in government and has nothing to show for it. As a guy interested in seduction guess what, quality women crave successful men and they avoid sorry ass losers... Pussification of America continues...

Those things are really scary, they will be even more scary 4 and 8 years from now...

I don't know why... Technically she won the popular vote by 1 million votes or so, so more people did vote for her... Maybe the polls were not that wrong after all...

But that is not how the elections work...

Ree,

The polls got it wrong for several reasons. One reason I heard was that they were over sampling certain areas over others they should have paid more attention to. They also have certain ways they go about polling that could be off i.e. they disregard certain rules mathematically speaking and hence the numbers lie. The way that looks is like a certain percentage of people would vote for Hillary and they actually claim it's that percentage but they may neglect to say that all those polled are likely to vote or even registered. Also if I was wanted Hillary to defeat Trump i would try to discourage his supporters by putting up numbers that make it as if she is ahead in the polls. So basically they have to resort to lying or maybe they call them white lies but even though they'd deny it its the only way they feel Hillary could win. Even in the above example they may justify over sampling. Another thing is they'll disregard how some people actually feel for example they never polled me but they assumed I'd vote for Hillary as a black person. They assume I feel a certain way about certain issues so I'm going to vote for Hillary. And they end up making all these wrong assumptions about how I or other people feel but call them facts and think many of us would prefer Hillary. And obviously we didn't. And on aside note I think it's important to mention that even though she did get the popular vote it's clear most states are red. In effect if the popular vote decided the election it would be as a result of California and New York for the most part (which is probably where the pollsters talked to people mostly and of course other democratic leaning states). Thus a few states decide for all the rest who becomes president. That's why the system we have right now is actually pretty fair. All in all if the polls don't begin with the right assumptions and get the correct facts then they will not be reliable.
