Why do I match with hotter girls when I go to different cities?

So I live in a relatively small city in the UK. I dont tend to match with 8s or 9s when I use tinder here. But then I went to London yesterday and as soon as I arrived I started matching with some solid 8s and 9s. Why is this? Must note that there are some hot girls in my city (theyre mostly white), but there arent as many. But then when I go to london I match with 8s and 9s, and theyre all non white. Why is this? DO white girls have much higher standards? Is it a status thing? PS I want to make it clear that this is NOT a post bitching why I cant get white girls. I know that any man can get the 9s but you have to put in the work to improve yourself, which is what I do by working on my purpose, hitting the gym, working on my style, grooming, etc. But this is a strange situation and I want to know why this is.

You're overthinking it mate- there is your answer. Population of London is over 8 million & assuming your small town has 100,000 people -that's 80x more options & chance of matching with a "9".

London's also more international that's why you're getting more non-white girls. Also remember that native girls have less need for apps as they're settled while a new graduate from India may use an app as she knows no one.
