Girl is losing interest. She is more sluggish in response to texts, doesn’t answer some texts, doesn’t seem so eager to meet me again.. Why?
I have 4 theories. Which one do you believe, or is it something else? As I’m in the middle of it I might be a little blinded. Advice would be mostly appreciated.
• Distance. She lives in another country, but has previously said she would move if she met the right one. We had been exchanging emails for some months before I visited her this summer. The visit went well. She is a conservative and inexperienced/shy girl. But responded great to kino, with excitement, dilated pupils. Also she invested a lot (helped me with everything, wanted to pay for food and stuff). She took me to her family and cooked for me. Also she has now come to my country for a visit with her mom, they are now travelling around. But when I ask for her opinion on moving here she is a bit evasive. But since she actually is here to check the country it must mean something??
• Auto rejection/lack of trust, me showing too much value? Once I didn’t received her texts so I didn’t answer until the next day. Then she said “I thought you didn’t want to talk to me anymore
” . I said I that I of course wanted to talk, and explained what happened and so on. After this she was more sluggish in response, because she didn’t quite trust my explanation. She asked me about it later on, and I repeated the explanation. Also she asked me about some previous date and I said we just didn’t have the chemistry. This she didn’t respond so well to, did it increase her fear of rejection? Also if I have showed value (maybe bragging) as in talking about friends, money and stuff it has lead to her being more reserved.
• Investments/me being needy, or making too much pressure. I know I have made some mistakes. I got some bad advice from a “friend”. He said, “you should try and get her to your country as soon as possible”. So I pushed for her coming to visit me, which made her a little annoyed. Also I have talked about us having a relationship, I mentioned marriage once, and I have maybe been texting too much. Previously I tried not texting too much, and only texted every other day, but lately I have texted her every day. The last message she didn’t respond to until the day after.
• My flaw. This is something that always runs through my head. I have a little irritated and red eyes sometimes, it can be bad if I’m tired. I’ve had some girls comment on it. The last one asked me about it, but went to bed with me on the next date. This girl has of course noticed it as well, but not said anything. She said once that she got red eyes sometimes. But she has really healthy eyes so it makes me a bit shy…
