Recently, I came across a problem that really compels me to move fast.
It's setting up dates with girls over text.
I had 3 dates set up this week, and it's a heck lot of work!
Figuring out their schedule, fitting it into mine, scratching my head on ideas, and then finally throw in a wrench like bad logistics in there can really make a person go crazy. It's a lot of decisions and work before the masterpiece unfolds!
Incidentally, I find it hard to go crazy over one girl after this experience. 3's not a lot but all the work and options just makes my mind say "Next" if one isn't an easy prospect (high quality, low walls). My brain can only take as much work, and even if I wanted to, my mental workload becomes overwhelming. I just can't. But I digress.
Then how does this tie back to moving fast?
Well..
1. Moving fast, before attraction expires
2. Moving fast, before life intervenes
Now I would like to add another reason:
3. Moving fast, before your cup overflows
Take a moment and give it some thought, you keep approaching. You keep getting numbers. And remember, you got to move fast!
If you get 2 good numbers for that week, and you haven't cleaned your plate from previous 8 numbers, then you have 10 numbers to set up a date and fast! That's logistics, time, schedule, and all that workload!
But heck, you only have 7 days in a week, albeit other work and events to attend!
You're mucked!
So, move fast? Move faster!! Get your plate cleared, you won't regret it!

EDIT: Those dates ended up being cancelled though.
I realized their logistics were bad last second and cancelled despite of racking my brain figuring logistics.
They were pretty excited so probably all in auto rejection now haha!
