It's abit off topic but i think you can help yourself with this in dating.
Spiritual gurus say "you have to look within". Logical people say this is bullshit. But the thing is how are you suppose to pull out yourself out of the shit you put yourself into?
Yes there are outside influences, like events, economy is bad, or that girl had a bad day and treated you like shit. But if we can realize that 3/4 of our lifes is also influence by how our system run (which is the brain and the belief system), We can not only help ourselves but also know the limitations of belief on reality.
So you actually win. That's what Sun Tzu meant. "Know your enemy, and Know Yourself. You win all battles".
