Holy fuck this is great. I now have a summary to point people to whenever someone asks "what's the point" or claims that I'm "objectifying women" (my favorite... facepalm). Great to see we share views regarding this, I honestly can only guess people who are against it never tried efficient goal-setting in their lives.
I set a a goal this month of reading at least 30 mins/day. Am I "forcing" my way through the book, slaughtering the author's arguments? Quite the contrary. I frequently start reading just because I don't want to fuck up my imaginary streak and end up losing myself for hours reading. Result? I've read 4 books in three weeks already. Last month? Zero.
Now...
God damn it I just saw you're commenting texting convos and this is AWESOME. It's "structurally" a great idea because I would probably still see value in these series two years from now whereas I'd only ever watch one video about [sticking point], for example. It's something
people keep ruminating on for no reason at all and go after it vs only going up to sticking point tips when they actually run into them, generally once or twice.
It keeps me sharp, you're commenting over a real case, you may go on a tangent related to the video that happens to be a gold nugget for me.
For instance, I never though about the brilliance about having a hard-rule to only replying to one of her texts when she sends a bunch. I do it naturally sometimes when I don't have patience or am ignoring something on purpose, but this is the kind of zero-effort technique I can add to my arsenal.
Next best thing is releasing porn tapes of those sex articles of yours
I'd even send a couple of convos that troubled me, but not all of them are in English. Does it works if I send you translations to the best of my ability to keep the original meaning?
