This question is about guys, not girls.
When dealing with guys, should I try for 50 - 50 investment? Or something else?
So I have this distant relative of mine. Guy is 2 or 3 years younger than me. He doesn't invest much. I have invited him to coffee a few times and paid the bill. Initially, he did that to me twice or so. Got him some movies to watch when he has nothing to do. And I'm investing in other ways. I don't mind it. But, if my investment is too much, will there be a huge imbalance?
Are there situations in which it is good to just keep investing myself even though not getting any investment in return? Or, should I always need to invest only as much as I get in return?
Also, which works more to my advantage:
1. I'm getting investment and compliance from him a lot, but not doing the same thing in return.
2. I'm investing in him a lot, and not asking for compliance or investment in return.
