Appreciate the plaudits for my writing, fellas!
Nah but seriously i don't think he probably will want to share that.... is like coca cola giving you their formula...
I actually do have a blog article writer's guide I wrote for all our writers... it is indeed a "trade secret" document with a "for your eyes only" message at top and the name of the recipient watermarked on each page. So yeah, that is the case.
That said, I could certainly talk more generally about developing one's writing and speaking style. The way I think about it, basically, you have style and you have organization. Style is the unique voice you use -- your way of speaking, colorful language you use, how you frame things, etc. Organization is how you put together a cogent argument + emotional experience that packages up and delivers all the "goods."
I always recommend
Stephen King's On Writing. It's the best book I have read on writing well (that said, I have yet to read Strunk & White, which is the old gold standard and one King himself repeatedly recommends). King's book got me back into writing fiction after I hadn't written much of it for years. I churned out a few novels in short order after reading
On Writing. Have since written a bunch more fiction novels. None published; just a pastime when I need a creative outlet different from girl stuff.
I'll try to write something on developing your communication style, if guys think that'd be helpful.
