Here we learn the skill of pickup - where can we learn the skill of writing from @Chase or other GC writers?

Most of us like the GC writing style and would benefit from writing better. Most guys here already write consistently.

@Chase , any chance we see a guide to writing the way you do?

Anyone else interested?

I like to write in my free time, this would be a great off-topic article/post

@Chase 's clear and entertaining writing style is one of the reasons this website is the best for dating advice imo

Ok yes I’m glad I wasn’t the only person who had that though regarding the @Chase writing style.

maybe true, or maybe it would raise the quality of writing on the forum. Could help Chase find future GC writers as well

i don't know about that, a lot of the best writers in different forums i can't even read the whole thing, soo boring, we had a dude that did not do anything wrong but totally got banned cause the way he wrote (i was upset about it), he would "ramble" instead of getting to the point...

Problem with forum guys, some tend to ramble too much and go into minutia that is totally unnecessary..... and some when writing lay reports and journals are horrible met a girl, then we talk then we fuck.... total useless reports...

Writing and texting is not about "grammar" "or quality" is some type of what i call writing charisma and some calibration (some guys have the charisma but always the way they write annoying people due to undercover trolling)

That's what I mean, good storytelling and clear communication = quality writing in my eyes

Appreciate the plaudits for my writing, fellas!

I actually do have a blog article writer's guide I wrote for all our writers... it is indeed a "trade secret" document with a "for your eyes only" message at top and the name of the recipient watermarked on each page. So yeah, that is the case.

That said, I could certainly talk more generally about developing one's writing and speaking style. The way I think about it, basically, you have style and you have organization. Style is the unique voice you use -- your way of speaking, colorful language you use, how you frame things, etc. Organization is how you put together a cogent argument + emotional experience that packages up and delivers all the "goods."

I always recommend Stephen King's On Writing. It's the best book I have read on writing well (that said, I have yet to read Strunk & White, which is the old gold standard and one King himself repeatedly recommends). King's book got me back into writing fiction after I hadn't written much of it for years. I churned out a few novels in short order after reading On Writing. Have since written a bunch more fiction novels. None published; just a pastime when I need a creative outlet different from girl stuff.

I'll try to write something on developing your communication style, if guys think that'd be helpful.

Honestly, just practice.
First I write everything that comes to my head.
Then I trim it down to what I think it's essencial.

It's just a skill....like everything else you gonna get better the more you do it.
(also read the classics... they are considered classics for a reason...more you read, better you write).
