The GC site seems so incredibly well put together from the content side.
Agreed, it's very impressive. Each time I read a quality article I am left amazed, unfortunately not every article has that effect.
It would be great to know more about the editing and strategy and structural considerations that go into publishing it.

I don't have any other blogs or sites that I can say are as solid in terms of overflowing well connected valuable content. It's especially impressive considering the large pool of writers.
Nice observation, most of the great blogs I visit are created by a single person. This one is different.
Anything you could provide in terms of guidelines or links to other sites that are inspirations would be awesome.

I'm looking to start blogging myself around marketing and I want to have this level of depth rather than cliche top 10 lists or "current" content. This site is original and mostly timeless which is exactly what i'm looking to have in my writing.
Are you a marketing expert.? Otherwise, why blog about something you don't know about.?
I am learning about the subject as well, if you are interested on recommendations and such. Also, a warning, most pick up web sites have some of the worst in your face advertising (including GC to some degree). Don't imitate what they are doing or you will screw your marketing career.
