Wondered what you thought of the dynamics of this.
A girl posted on Yahoo Answers saying she gets a lot of men staring at her when she's out and about. and wanting to know what is going through men's heads when they stare at a woman they don't know. One guy gave an answer that she really seemed to dig. I thought it was a bit of a wussy, "white knighty" answer, to be honest, all about "oh no it's not true we men only think about sex etc." (some of the other answers were more along the lines of "yeah they're imagining you naked"). Anyway she loved it and told him to PM her. What do you think of his answer and why she liked it?

Guys what do you honestly think about when you check out a girl? I'm not trying to be stuck up or anything but whenever I'm out guys glance at me quite a bit but I always wonder what they're thinking. Is it sexual like are you imagining her naked and having sex with her or r u thinking about her personality aswell? I don't dress slutty if that helps, I always leave something to the imagination because I don't like showing everything I have. Does it make a difference if you're dressed slutty or not? Please be honest..be as crude as you want lol

It really depends on the woman - how she's dressed, and how she carriers herself.
If I see a beautiful woman, usually it's just along the lines of "Wow, she's really attractive." From there it's recognizing her strongest feature. Maybe her eyes, or her lips, or just overall appearance in general.
Honestly, the notion that guys only ever think about sex isn't true. The most sexual thing I'd think about if I saw a beautiful woman would be kissing her, or feeling a desire to be close to her. Even that isn't very common though, only ever coming up when a woman looks... soft I guess is the word. Not soft as in fat, but rather like how some women have "kissable" lips. You think about how soft they must be, and imagine kissing them.
That being said, if a beautiful woman is dressed excessively provocatively, or if she seems like she's stuck up or snobby, than the reaction will be different.
For the women who are dressed slutty the thoughts tend to be less about her and more just glancing at her body. It may sound rude, but it would be like walking past a manikin. You'll glance, but you only see an exterior. There's not much thought to her personality in this case.
For women who look snobby or stuck up, it's just a feeling of being turned-off, even if she's attractive. You'll have looked beyond her exterior and didn't like what was there, so you put her out of your mind.
edit: I should add that I'm 30. The age of the guy affects how he looks at women
