Big Bang Theory? Really? Lol I can't stand that show or any of the character in it. Maybe if BBT was a hilarious title for a porno I'd respect it more. I don't like off the bat disagreeing with someone but this is the BBT we are talking about. Media has such a strong and subconscious influence on your psyche that I can't imagine being great with women and being drawn to the show at the same time.
I love Mad Men- superb writing, Don Draper is wicked cool and sharp, and the show's portrayals of 60s culture and power dynamics in business are inspired. Unlike the vast, vast majority of garbage throughout the media, Mad Men has strong male figures you can safely emulate. Roger Sterling is hysterical.
Breaking Bad- possibly the greatest crime drama of all time. Vince Gilligan has an extraordinary attention to detail, the writing keeps you on the edge of your seat, its full of unexpected WTF moments, has great villains, and Bryan Cranston dazzles as the infamous Walter White.
Cheers- funniest show I have ever watched. The writers started the whole laugh track thing, except they did it with an actual live audience while filming. And these audiences not only laughed, but were IN TEARS, and the Cheers crew repeated this week after week for 11 whole seasons. Sam's ease with women is awesome, and the show is so damn genuine despite how hilarious it can be.
I like The Walking Dead too. It has some truly fantastic characters. Love watching Rick's descent into ruthlessness and all the violence. TWD has problems, but what it does well it does phenomenally well
