I know a lot of people don't believe in resolutions because they end up forgetting them by the end of January. I want to make some so I can sort my life out and become a better person. I'm going to start mine right now and try to keep up with them in my journal. So here they go:

1. Become a better student. It's been too long I've procrastinated and wasted my potential.

2. Achieve solid fundamentals. It's time I solidify three, and a year should be enough time.

3. Find out what I want to do with my life. I don't know yet and I don't have time to ponder anymore.

I'll have sub headings for all of these but those are the general goals.

What about you guys? Feel free to share. :)

Jake.

Found it ;)

For your number 3 I would suggest three things (I've been there).

First, what were you good at as a kid?

Second, what did you enjoy as a kid?

The thing is most people have the same strengths, weaknesses, and personality as they were as a kid (despite what they think).

Third, get work experience in something that combines the two BEFORE you finish school. This is important as you discover something else about your self that does or doesn't work with that job. You don't want to learn after you get a degree in something and sign a contract with an employer.

All the best,
M

Thanks for all of the advice, Meto! I've been struggling to decide where to start with this, so I guess I'll go back to when I was little to decide what to do.
