yeah, i’m aa, i’m really a coach,and “hi” as a conversation starter is so good for several reasons. I mean just “hi” with a pause
first - you will never know how a person will react to you, before you talk to them, which definitely complicates things a lot
second when you say something universally exceptable and wait,you give a person room to breathe and give a proper responce
and third - depending on how attractive are you phisically and whatever is going on in persons head, you will get a reaction.
