For quite a while, I had been wanting to write this post, but kept putting it off. Not any more.

Over the past few months, I have noticed certain traits that are commonly seen in all charming men. If you are a regular reader of this site, I believe you must have already noticed Chase or Ricardus talk about each of these traits in many of the articles, subtly or extensively.

Here are the traits that stick like glue to every charming men:

1. They do not laugh at their own jokes

Be it Brad Pitt in a TV show, George Clooney in an interview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tI-Jx3zRcY), James Marshall in a speech, or just your brother's friend who gets ladies all the time, you will notice one thing about all charming men - they do not laugh at their own jokes. Sure they may smile approvingly, or chuckle a bit while others are laughing, but they don't make loud laughing noises even when the rest of the room is roaring in laughter.

Also, while most people, after cracking a joke, wait till everyone finishes laughing, charming men almost never stop in their tracks. Having made a joke, more often than not, a true charmer will quickly dive right into the subject that was being discussed, as if he didn't even crack a joke in the first place. These men almost never let a joke interrupt the flow of a sentence.

To be very honest, despite the title of this post, I would not say that suppressing laughter is easy. I have tried it and I've failed every single time. Until you have exceptional self-control, I do not think that you can master this trait.

2. They are not afraid to make a fool of themselves

Men who are truly confident are not afraid to act like total losers. You may see Liam McRae making silly jokes and body movements, or James Marshall making weird gestures. Charmers are not afraid to dance like pussies or make gestures that may make them look anal. These males are so alpha that even if they act like total pussies once in a while, people have no way but to just shrug it off.

3. They are exceptionally good imitators

I don't know why that is, but almost every charming man seems to be able to imitate others quite well, should he attempt to do so. For example, imitating the way someone speaks, cracking jokes with funny accents, imitating the way ladies talk etc. Interesting thing is, they can imitate whoever they are imitating really well.

4. They use facial expressions a lot

You may find George Clooney raise his eyebrows as if to say 'Yes?', or someone else doing something with facial expression. Most charming men are amazing at manipulating facial expressions, and every so often, they can deliver a message without even saying a single word, if they choose to do so.

5. They deflect questions

THIS IS THE BIGGEST. I guess if you incorporate just this technique, your game will be twice as tight.

Half of the time, charming men do not directly answer a question. They may either pose another question as a way of answering one question, or they may give something which is not a direct answer to the question.

For instance, when James Bond meets Vesper for the first time in train (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S39paDGZ0Ew), a part of the scene goes like this:

Vesper: So that would be what you call bluffing?
James: You've heard the term! (Most people would go 'Yes' first, and then say something or say nothing at all.)

You can see the same thing in the restaurant scene when Juan Antonio approaches the girls (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN_237kUaXM) in Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona:

Vicky: Because frankly it does not matter, because either of us would do to keep the bed warm, I...I get it!
Juan Antonio: Well you're both so lovely and beautiful (95% of men would be defensive in a situation like this.)

The restaurant scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkQ_uPNWp28) in Intolerable Cruelty is not a bad example either,

Catherine Jones: What was your performance about this afternoon?
George Clooney: What did your lawyer say? (Question for a question.)

OR BETTER, THEY MAY EVEN TOTALLY IGNORE THE QUESTION BY HOLDING PRESSURE WITH INTENSE EYE CONTACT UNTIL THE GIRL BUDGES AND SAYS SOMETHING ELSE!

I hope this post was helpful! ;)

This is a good list!

I like the last one especially. It takes a lot of practice to make it your natural trait.

2. They are not afraid to make a fool of themselves

Yea social freedom! Since you can't change what other's think of you, just accept the dark side of the coin.

Thanks! ;)

I'm surprised that even a guy as advanced as you would say that! Do you deflect questions these days very often? Or, do you still find the technique a bit hard to implement despite being quite an expert seducer?

Depends on the question and the situation really. You don't wanna seem like you're having something to hide but you also don't wanna seem too vulnerable, so the balance takes quite a bit of experience to get it right. and haha I'm far from expert yet, although u shud always believe in your ability to seduce women right now. ;)
