I was thinking about trying cold reads the next time I went out to approach(hopefully today). I was wondering: how do you recover when you make a failed cold read?
Example:

Me:Haha, so you seem like you're into ____, right?
Her: Actually no.
Me:....

Just wondering what you say after that. Do you ask her what she's actually into?

Yes. If you fail a cold read it's no problem at all. If you tell a girl you think she seems shy and she says no, just say something like:
"Really? I totally misread you. So you are a very outgoing person… have you always been like that?"

Show interest in this side of her and there is no problem at all.

Remember that when you try to cold read a girl you are making an effort to feel, know her. That is good. Being said that, it is better to make a long cold read than a short one.

A short one might be to generic. Nothing personal to her. So, instead of saying "You seem like a shy person", you might say "You seem like a person that really enjoys being left alone most of the time. Have your own space. Some of an introvert. And just outgoing with people really close to you".

Cheers!

I would agree to most of that minus using the word introvert to describe a girl. I assume they would take it negatively. I usually make cold reads a lot or just express how I think the girl feels. Sometimes it's me prodding and other times i'm spot on so that's the beauty of trying to read someone cold.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
