Struggled with severe approach anxiety today.

Found myself literally paralyzed to approach even one girl.

Although I did lay a girl not even two weeks ago.

That said, I threw myself in the water and started hitting on girls at the mall despite almost succumbing to a panic attack, especially before the first approach.

Well, turns out, girls aren't that scary after all (who would have thought?)

More importantly, as I walked back home with a satisfied smile and 3 phone numbers out of 4 approaches, this simple truth occured once again:

No action = 0% chance of anything happening.

Approach one girl or heck, just even smiling at one = A non-zero chance at something magical happening.

When all else fails in the face of approach anxiety, at least knowing that doing something, anything, still puts you at a non-zero probability.

There's something incredibly soothing at the idea of this irrefutable fact. It lays the possiblity in its rawest form.

Non-zero is infinitely larger than zero.

That's gotta count for something.
