AI, ChatGPT, and Cold-Approach?

Curious whether anyone has found applications for any of these new generative AI tools for cold-approach?

Anyone who has tested the chat models probably realizes their takes on cold-approach tend to veer heavily into the PC, leading them to be especially bad at anything towards "dark tech". Though some models like Grok are more raw, and thus do a bit better, and there are also ways to jailbreak or at least prime the models for pickup.

OP, the only way I can think of is using the voice chat to practice real conversations. I remember trying https://www.sesame.com/ it has a playful female voice that's sort of flirty. Although I haven't used it seriously, I imagine it can be used to practice quick witty thinking to keep up with the AI, potentially as a way to warm up before going out alone. For realism though AI voice can be used but you have to tailor it via prompts, right now it's too friendly and engaging in comparison to real people.

If you think of scripts or pick up lines then I think your general emphasis is wrong.
Maybe AI can work for online dating since texting is so important - I wouldn't know - but texting girls after closing them IRL, what you text doesn't really matter. If the text you send could be written by AI, it's probably not worth sending - unless it's very basic, but in that case you shouldn't need AI.

To OP, I guess there is a potential application of AI to texting but… do you really want your texts to sound like a computer generated mumb

Derailing here a little but I got a side project helping companies run marketing campaigns… do you want to know of something that works way better than AI?

Good ol’ scripted messages.

Like, I have a human operator (low skill) read the chats and make small chat, then a serious question gets asked I just have her click a button that delivers a pre-recorded pitch message.
The pitch message is the same text for all leads, it has been thoroughly tested and it has a lot of personality.
It works way better than the boring mumbles AI generates.

As a matter of fact, I want to experiment with AI to see if it can detect which scripted message needs to be deployed and when.
So the idea here is using AI for its listening/understanding capabilities, not its responding capabilities.

TLDR: Field tested scripted messages > AI mumbo-jumbo

Not personally, from what I've seen they are absolutely awful at understanding social flow and the advice makes me cringe.

Personally, I don't script anything besides the open since I love the creativity of verbal game.

Honestly, in my mind it was a blue sky question, as you never know what people come up with.

It may come a time when AI can understand social and sexual nuance… it just isn’t there yet
