Just gonna get this out of the way quickly haha: been feeling like crap lately due to lack of results/negative thought loops about chicks I goofed on in the past. Before going out, on Saturday, I hit the gym, meditated, was social throughout the day, and reviewed Chase's article about resilience twice. It pumped me up enough to go out solo.
I start at one of my favorite bars around 9 PM last night. Didn't see much potential so I talked a little with the staff. Some random is sitting next to me all by himself so I go "hey how's the night" (looks at me then looks at phone) "just hanging out" (I can instantly tell he does not wanna talk but I'm good with that lol)
Saw a small birthday table with a bunch of people and three chicks who appeared single at the end. Decided to walk nearby (did not walk over directly) but chickened out on the approach. Not listing any BS or excuses because I know I could have approached haha.
I walk to the bar next door. Started to think about the resilience tools to remember the reasons why I'm out. I forgive myself for not approaching the 3 set earlier. I walk in feeling like I own the place, moving slowly, and taking in the scene. Sat down near some girls but was kinda skeptical cause they were drinking/looking drunk. Not really in the mood for dealing with chicks all liquored up lol.
Again, wondering if it's worth staying or if I should bail since it's only 10 PM. Bartender comes over and asks what I want. (I'm very attracted and practice the sexy eye contact/facial expressions Chase wrote about). I'm doubting if I can get her cause she is older than me by about 10 years haha. I lied about my age. Told her I'm 28 when she asked and she says she's 36. She looks interested so I start opening her up as I get a drink. Don't remember everything that was said but had a feeling she wanted me cause she goes "wanna try a jello shot" I'm like yea and she gives it to me no charge. She also gave me like 4 free drinks throughout the night. I'm not getting overly excited about it cause I know that is not smooth!

Her: The guy behind the bar is totally not getting the hint I'm not into him. He's been coming here a lot lately.
Me: Tell him you're in a relationship with a merman (she knows I'm referring to me from a previous conversation)
Her: starts laughing and says something along the lines of great idea
New Convo.
Me: I'm disappointed with these coasters. Put something cool on them
Her: Like what
Me: Write down my name and scribble how I'm the sexiest, awesomest merman ever
Her: (Does it on two coasters and puts her number on one of them)
New Convo. (it's just us two in the bar at this point)
Me: Got that weird guy to agree to leave
Her: Thanks so much
Me: no problem (then get closer to show her the coaster she wrote on) think I'll keep this so your number isn't advertised
Her: laughs and goes "yea you were cool tonight and not like all the other people"
Me: Yea. Come here (pull her in for a kiss)
At this point we flirted a little and she talked about how she was excited to see me again. I left the bar after that.
I was trying to think of a way to shag her for the night last minute, but I was not expecting things to go this well because my mindset was "let's get my head back in the game" lol. Kinda kicking myself but I'll see what happens after texting her. Any techniques you guys use for pulling girls home/to their place would be very helpful!
