This is a big part of my room game strategy. I got a lot of great moves from Dreamz, another old-school guy. While I'm talking with another girl, I will look with a defocused ghaze towards their position but never directly look at their face. When she seek eye contact I will look at her for a short amount of time, and either put out my tongue or just go back to what I was doing. Another thing that works well is lightly pointing in her direction without looking at her, and then seeking the eye contact when she looks at me. You have then pre-opened.
