Hi guys. This is my first post. Have been a reader of the boards for about 6 months now. Like most of you, this site has changed my view on the dating world, women, and life in general.

My question pertains to being a skinny / young looking dude and how women perceive this. I am also 25 years old and women are generally receptive of me, would consider myself an attractive male. A lot of objection i get follows along the lines of, "you're so skinny!", or "yeah, you do look young". Anyways, over the summer, i started eating to gain weight and also started lifting, ended up going from 120 to almost 140 pounds in a few months. Packed on some muscle as well. However, in the past few months, i stopped going to the gym, and lost about 8 lbs. I am going to start hitting the gym again soon. It felt good to see results, but it takes a lot of effort to gain and maintain the weight.

Anyways, I was wondering if being skinny and young looking works against me. Especially being out of college and in the real world. It's something I never really paid any attention to, and was the reason why i started lifting/gaining weight. I would say everything else about my appearance is on point. Have a haircut that works well for me, dress well, etc. Is this something I should continue to focus on? It gets me down a little thinking that this hurts me with finding new women. I am perfectly happy with my body type, and I'm glad to hit the gym and lift weights to get some muscle, but I really don't wanna gain like 30 lbs. Is it ok being skinny/fit with some muscle? But not really muscular?

Thank you.

Whatever people comment, ALways understand your body. You work out, even if it's a smaller weight, just keep the momentum. Don't follow people and try to be somebody.

I was always very skinny, even after gaining the weight that comes with age. I'm inly now hitting what is generally accepted as the perfect weight for my height.

One of my friends was even skinnier, so I wouldn't let even let it bother you. Just eat healthy and do a bit of exercise and you'll be fine.

When it comes to attraction though it not really a deal breaker, and nothing to worry about.
