Annoyed With Not Succeeding at Tinder

I have Colt's Laid on Tinder system, and it all seems like great stuff, but I'm just not seeing any results. Literally zero.

I had some mediocre photos some time ago, and I had a couple of matches. These are the ones I have now. I've played around a bit with my photos with some blur and filters. In order on my profile, 1) photo of me in yellow shirt 2) me playing guitar 3) me in gray shirt on top of a cliff 4) me with a couple of my friends. Just not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Pic 1 - I can tell this is a cell phone selfie by the lens distortion that's screwing up your facial proportions. Check this out:

If you're going to use selfies, take them in the mirror, or with a camera with a wide angle lens. Scrap this pic, it isn't doing you any favors.

Pic 2 - Scrap it. Not flattering

Pic 3- Cool pic, but won't get the ladies wet. You've got some muscle on you by the looks of it, so use it to your advantage. Wear tank top or beater to show off the goods. Scrap this pic.

Pic 4- The best by far, but could be so much better if you dressed with some edge. You're wearing average joe attire in every pic that screams, "I don't get laid!". Changing up your haircut (buzz the sides and back) and wardrobe to more of a douchebag. If average joes think you're a douchebag, you're on the right track haha. Google Image "Men's Fashion Pinterest" for tons of bad ass fashion ideas.

I seriously appreciate the feedback. That's one of the many things I love about GirlsChase: honesty is a priority.

I remember hearing that you should show your hobbies, so could I still use my guitar for a photo in some way?

As far as fashion, I thought I improved a lot, then again my fashion sense before was less than acceptable. I'll improve it right away. Seeing only my perspective I can see why I didn't notice the flaws in the pics. I just got my haircut today like you suggested, and I'm loving it.

It literally is just pics, I don't really know exactly what I changed (perhaps I got more attractive or just took a better picture), but even though my new profile picture is a bathroom selfie I've been getting a fuck ton of matches (a fuck ton to me is 3-4 every swipe period, because I went from having like 1 every 3-4 swipe periods and they'd never respond).

All pictures brother, all pictures.

One is of me DJing a nightclub I was running (lol pretending to DJ tbh but it looks cool), I have one with the dog ear filter after I came back from the gym which shows my biceps (it makes them look waaaaay bigger than they actually are), then I have one where I'm boxing at a gym (I'm throwing a punch with boxing gloves on at a friend holding a bag), then I have a group photo at a party with a bunch of bros, then the last one is the same as my facebook pic and Okcupid and POF default; it's a professionally done picture (one of my buddies was helping me practice for an upcoming modeling shoot), I'm just looking at my phone at it but apparently from what my dates have said (when they bring it up) is I look like a total "Bro" in it.

The bathroom selfie has had the most success rate, all I can gather is I look really attractive in it; because you're really not supposed to use bathroom selfies like ever.

Last one is the dreaded shirtless mirror selfie that girls love to say they hate, but gets them wet anyway. Used a sick black and white filter on this pic.

Yeah,I knew it would look good on you. The new haircut and fashion sense will go a long way for your online pics, but also in your cold approaches. It can be tough switching up your fashion when you're used to looking like every other guy out there, but you'll get used to standing out and reap the benefits.

Good idea! When choosing a photographer, make sure that their shots look good and natural (ie: not awkwardly posed or framed)

I always wondered what was really true about the shirtless pics since I've heard both guys and girls say they do/don't work.

Oh they definitely work, IF you have the physique to pull it off. If you get regular compliments on your physique, then it's definitely worth showing. The only girls that aren't down with a good shirtless pic are the ones that aren't in good shape themselves or have been burned before by other shirtless players. Yes, taking a picture of yourself in the mirror without a shirt is "douchey", but so is taking a mirror selfie in yoga pants or club attire which is what the girls I'm targeting do all the time.

Good point about the girls and yoga pants and club attire, and yeah, those are the kinds of girls I'm after myself. I'm looking forward to a fun post-graduation summer if this works lol. Another question that I always wondered about though. How can a guy let a girl know online if he's short without coming off socially uncalibrated? I'm 5'4, and I know girls don't want to be blindsided by it when we meet up.

Yeah that shot looks good.

About the height issue, I'd wear lifts on the date to give you some extra height. You can expect that some girls will be disappointed, but there's no point in worrying about it. Get the girl on the date, have a good time, and try to close.
