Approach tactics - two girls

Hi,

The other day I was at the mall and I saw a group of girls walking in a nice uniform. Instinctively I approached one of them (she was walking ahead of the others) and complimented her on the nice dress. Well, my tone was perhaps too high energy, and she responded in a cold tone. The point is, the girl walking immediately behind her looked at me and smiled very warmly. I was was caught unprepared to respond to this situation and let them walk away.

But then, I thought there may be an idea here. I noticed several times that when I approach and speak to a girl (day game), I actually generate a lot of interest from other women around. I suppose it is some sort of pre-selection effect?

There must be a way to exploit this. Has anybody tried something along these lines:

* Notice two cute girls together
* Approach the less cute of them
* Be prepared to handle the attention of the other one who feels she wants to be "part of the action"

Yeah, that happens. Thing is, you can't shift too quickly to the other girl or you look like you're just trying to find anyone who will bite.

So what you do is if you open the girl who isn't responding, you keep chatting her up a little bit anyway, and then you pull in the other girl. When the other girl is naturally responding to you more warmly and excitedly, you give her warmer and more excited responses in return, while continuing to give nice-but-cool interaction to the first girl. Eventually you get "sucked in" by the second girl and turn more and more of your body language to her and create a little bubble with her.

The first friend (who doesn't like you) will then interrupt to drag her away, at which time you ask out the second girl and trade contact details.
