I was thinking about the whole "Alpha male", it seems to be just nonsense. True, there are leaders and men that could be called "Alpha males", but the expression is rather misleading because the whole "Alpha" can be learned. Learned by me, by you, by any man that has average intelligence. It is rather an attitude, character and skills that can be LEARNED.

You read, you do, you learn from own mistakes, and one day you can have Alpha Attitude as well. It is like a muscle, you exercise biceps, you eat and it grows. If you are persistent, one day your muscle will be bigger and stronger than of those who don't exercise it. There is simply no other way.

And there are different Alphas, different characters, different attitudes and ways to obtain knowledge... One Alpha doesn't give a crap, he would be laughing about reading seduction/PUA skills because he simply goes and does it, he's used to it, he learned on his own. Another Alpha read stuff, applied it, and either kept it to himself or shared with others. Is he bigger or better Alpha than the others? Well, maybe, there are those who share knowledge, and those who don't care or try to keep it to themselves...

You learn, and you do, and if you have some intelligence you come up to some conclusions. They might differ slightly from others, depending on your own life experiences, but at least in the core they are all the same...

And then there is BETA, guy who admires Alpha. Why? Because he can't get pussy, he can't do what Alpha does easily, he is frustrated. He is not really Beta, he only behave like a Beta because he was raised like that. He was raised provider, his learned behavior is to be a nice guy, he was thought to supplicate and never say NO to a woman. It is not really his fault, and it wasn't his choice to be Beta. He has (had) no other knowledge, so he is beta. But in the core, we are all men, we are the same...

Alpha and Beta are just skills, attitudes and habits that the particular person holds valid in his mind...

Enough with trying to classify things; people are more complex than being either alpha or beta. I've seen countless threads trying to discuss the exact definition of traits which define an 'alpha male'. They go nowhere fast. Everyone argues what they believe the definition to be, which quite often leads to arguing about subtle differences in belief.

Drck, I've seen so many threads on this that you seem to be stuck on it. Continually re-arranging the definition of a word is a bad habit to develop. Let it go, and save yourself some time.

No offense, but all that we kind of knew already. Otherwise none of us would be here.

The world isn't black and white and alpha and beta you know. In fact, i perceive myself as more 'beta' but i really don't care.
