FR Audio infield , its been long and fucking hard

Hey guys! This is my first field report on GC so I'll give you a brief idea of who I am. I'm 19 and been doing pickup (pretty much all daygame) for 2 years on and off. All my schooling was single sex , so when I started to become interested in girls I found pickup online. I was also extremely quiet with bad social skills. I got 1 date(lots of flaky numbers that's would not reply when I asked for meetup)in my first year from cold approaching , yes that's how bad it was 1 date after a year of cold approaching. Fortunately into my second year my number of dates started to increase and the numbers where sorta less flakey. So it was probably a little less than 1 date per month I kissed a bunch of girls so progress was made but it was painfully slow. I never really posted any sort of field report on pickup forums , up until now but I figure its only fair I try to give back to the community since its done so much for me , hopefully some of the newer guys can use some of this as motivation if they are only just starting. Anyways, currently I'm still a virgin , I've never had a place to pull girls too (I live with my parents), but hopefully soon within the next couple of months I'll be living in a place close to my uni where I can take girls which I why I wanted to start these audio field reports. I'm going to be going out doing daygame and you'll hear my insanely sexy voice in set (its actually a terrible voice lols) , hopefully you guys can give me some feedback on how my sets go. Basically anything that you think is an issue , point out any bad habits that I may have , tell me if I should have persisted more , or when I'm persisting pointlessly because the girl wants to leave , since I feel sometimes I can be uncalibrated , when it comes to figuring out where a girl is in an interaction since I spent so long soley on making myself comfortable/getting better. And once I move out and with your guys help hopefully I'll put up a lay report. In every report I'll have a link to the sets audio and hopefully a description of whats going on inside my head and what's happening visually. I've edited out names and locations etc anyways enough of me talking.

So I bought a mic and I was really eager to test it out so I went into the bathroom at the mall and hooked the mic up to my phone ran in under my shirt. I'd already done a few sets earlier and pretty much gotten blown out in all of them except for one number which felt really weak. It was pretty late in the day but the mic gave me the motivation to go pump out as many sets as I could.

First girl was walking out of the uni so I stopped her and opened I'm not a big fan of going for girls if I feel they genuinely have a bf.

2nd girl was quite warm and she seemed interested from the start.From the get go she was telling me about herself and really open , always asking me questions She was cool walking with me so I went for it , usually I don't like walking with girls I like to stop them and I did initially but then we walked which I guess was ok. I probably should have been more assertive during the close and when I made the transition to walking with her.

3rd girl stormed past me at the speed of light but man, I loved her figure she was beautiful I had to try. Took me a while to catch up and I couldn't keep her very long. I tried for a really fast number close which I'd read about a while back and I'd never tried it. So I attempt it lols , the number probs would have flaked anyway. I should have just let her go after her name.

4th girl I didn't persist with , I guess I genuinely didn't want to make her miss her bus. I probably should have asked when her bus was before ejecting so fast but I was kinda sad about the girl before.

5th set when I open her , she immediately goes into interview mode.The initial barrage of questions she launches my way throws me off abit , but fortunately I've got a habit of cold reading most girls at some point during interactions and it briefly snaps her out of it . I feel like the right vibe was there initally , because right after the cold read she qualifies herself with this really girly laugh asking if she isn't nerdy enough. But the vibe shortly dissapears somehow I destroy it? Probably because I stop cold reading or maybe I changed my body language not sure. And she goes back into interview mode lols. After listening to this set a million times cause it was a massive pain editing out names since we always talk over each other the next part of the set sorta makes me cringe. She keeps trying to exit at this point and I probably should have let her go my attempts to keep her there were pretty weak which makes me feel as tho she just def being polite , but I dunno I wanted to salvage it. I was sorta confused being in set because in the moment I felt I was getting the polite treatment, but the initial girly laugh made me think otherwise. I try to close anyway, probably because I'm recording. Usually I'd probably just eject from this set I feel.She did say she had a bf and it seemed genuine so I wouldn't close her anyway.

6th girl I opened her on the way to the station and I was kinda in a rush because I knew my train was coming soon. And I'd already spent more time approaching than I intended too. I knew in my head I hadn't really screened or or gotten much compliance in set, I wasn't amazingly attracted to her so I just eject. I do this sometimes , in my head I feel its good because I might run into her again and I wasn't needy getting number meh. And man on a side note her parents must have been so drunk when they named her lols. She had one of the strangest names.


7th girl I actually saw her on the first train I got on while headed home , but I didn't open because I pussied out. We get off at the same station and then head to the same platform so I open her there , I guess she had noticed me at some point which in her vancinity which makes the approach more warm , so in some ways me pussying out may have worked in my favour lols. She seems suprisingly receptive. I'm 19 so whenever I open girls that are older than me I often don't feel as tho they aren't going to take me seriously,I sorta thought I was going to get blown out or this girl would give me the polite treatment like set 5; that's an issue I have. This girl was clearly a couple years older like 23 after talking to her for a while. So I often feel myself auto rejecting before I've even opened. Really early in the interaction this long ass train comes past she tries to talk over it but I motion to her I can't hear so we wait holy shit its a long train we literally sit there for 2 minutes but I've cut it out for u guys. Then we continue and she was extremely compliant followed me sat down right next(as opposed to the seat infront which faces me) to me when we got onto our second train. I even touched her hair at one point (when I'm teasing her about grey hairs) and she didn't mind. But I fucked up pretty bad: in my head I knew I should close on the train because we weren't getting on the same one after but I didn't want to take out my phone because it would show I was recording on the screen and she was sitting right next to me lols. And she said she had like 2 minutes to get to her train and she ran off when we got off and I didn't get time to close. Ooops.

Hey dude, great to see this FR, I notice you've been helping guys out a fair bit lately and what you had to say seems very sensible, so I had the feeling you were probably in bangtown USA already, but there's nothing wrong with grinding it out. You seem to have a great attitude and you're starting young, which is so incredibly awesome to see.

I've had a listen to the audio and I'm finding it a bit hard to pick out the words (I can hear you better than her, for obvious reason)... but just going by voice tone rather than the content of the conversation... from what I've heard so far (set 1), your voice is good, and she seems quite interested. Your tone is quite laconic, laid back which is a great style to have (goes well with the bored look and gets them to invest), but don't forget to switch on the energy and engagement as she invests more. I have a special earphone to use (connects to my hearing aids), I will try to get it working, or put your audio through the stereo later, so I can hear better. Failing that, you could always do a transcription if there's a specific interaction you wanted more advice on. Conversation is a big interest of mine, so I'm ultra keen to hear how other guys are handling it.

Hey ray ,

Thanks for taking at look at it. I did have to do some audio conversations so I could edit the audio after taking it off my phone so that may have reduced the quality and I am using pretty high quality headphones when I was listening/editing so it could be more quiet than I first thought. If you're having trouble hearing all of the sets , then I'll see what I can do about making the quality better. I also know it might be too much content , so I'll probably just upload the sets which are important next time rather than every set , because I am looking for more specific advice. But you tend to get excited and ramble a lot when you do your first to see how people react.

It sounds good. You're lighthearted and flow.

Just be mindful of the vibe of the interaction. Being direct is a mindset. It should be evident what you're there for even if you say it explicitly. This allows her to think about whether or not she likes you enough to keep talking to man who is sexual.

If she's not available she'll let you know, similar to this case.

And, when you deliver your opener, make sure it is clear! You mumbled the opener. Anytime I compliment a girl I make sure that it comes out strong, clear and with eye contact and a little cocky smirk. I think that complimenting the hair like this would work if its obvious you're a sexual man, but why don't you try just saying "Hey, I think you're cute, love the hair." Something natural and genuine but direct and bold. SO far I always have had a good response from that.

I do want to say that you probably have approached more women than I have so take my advice lightly. I do however have experiences backing up everything I have said, just a small pool to take from.

Thanks for the feedback.I assume you're talking about the first set? I did use the cute opener pretty much all the time early on once I became comfortable complimenting girls. However I think as my fundamentals got better (it took ages) I started to have experiences where girls would find the approach too much if they were into me ,I've also been told on multiple occasions in the past that for girls I can be insanely intense to talk to , including a girl I work with (probably comes from 90% of the conversations you've had in your life with girls is a direct cold approach). And on the other hand it felt like I was over investing when I opened girls that were less receptive to my approach , so I stopped using it and replaced it with something that's' still direct just less heavy like complimenting her hair or clothes.

As far as mumbling goes , I'm pretty lazy when opening girls as of late but you are right there is no excuse weak opening. I'll try to focus on it in future.

I do agree that's a weakness of mine , when I first started I'd just cold read cold read cold read , because its difficult to get girls to stop and stay to talk when you start out- so the solution I was taught reading elsewhere was to throw cold reads at them and it became a habit. I'll work on it.

As far as the mic goes its a smartLav+ from rode. I just walked into a music store and bought it. It uses the voice recording app on iphone - I'm not sure if it works for android.
