Auto-Rejecion recovery

So recently I held a job for 2 months at a local gym. There was a girl there who I’m pretty sure liked me but I was very insecure and unconfident at the time. She had made multiple efforts to connect with me while at this job however I kind of brushed her off mostly due to a lack of confidence. When I left the job it seemed that she was about to go for a hug which I kinda turned into a handshake and upon turning my back to leave she made a comment that upon reflection would have me believe that I caused her to auto-reject. I no longer work there and while I obviously plan to go talk to other girls there is a part of me that wants to go back to this gym at some point when I get a job and see if I can undo the auto-rejection. My question is would this be feasible given the time elapsed since causing her to auto-reject.
