Autorejection or Just aloof?

Hi guys,
I'm wondering how to tell the difference between a girl that is in auto rejection and a girl that is just not interested. Specifically over text. I went out with a girl but didn't escalate (I'm new). She said we should see each other again and that she had a great time. But, now when I text her she says she's busy and she'll have to let me know. Is there a way to turn around auto rejection over text or to be able to tell if it's auto rejection or just noninterest? Thanks a lot!

Wait a few days and call her? I doubt she'll get back to you but just in case you can wait a week. If she doesn't answer when you call, and then again the 2nd time (when you leave a VM) and doesn't call back, she's not interested. If you get her on the phone at least you'll be able to gauge her reaction... propose something, if she rejects it, ask her what her schedule is. If she still gives you the runaround "will let you know" then it's pretty much it. You can call her out on it with e.g.
"well, we're talking now... so let me know now " but it'd be awkward and you may as well move on.
