being stood up?

Hey guys!

So i honestly live in an area where I have noticed girls are kinda flakey. It might be me but im not too sure, it might be me but idk! I just need to trouble shoot, this honestly happens about 75% of the time now (I get flaked on)

Here is some background info: Met this chick in the bar as we were waiting for drinks. We talked for a while about topics she valued; I noticed her teeth were really white and talked about whitening ur teeth and how awesome an electric toothbrush is. Eventually we got to the front of the line and I got my alcohol and I said it was nice to meet her. Walked away and 15 min later she said she needed my number and I gave it to her. She texted me her name and I told id text her my name later. At 2 am I texted her:

Me: Jordanne, hey! It was fun meeting ya. -My name
Jordanne: Omg! It was greeting meeting you. You need to hit me up soon!!!
me:

I called her the following day (sunday) and we just talked briefly and we agreed on grabbing a bit to eat on wednesday sometime. We only talked for like 5 min cuz the only thing i was concerned about was setting up the date. (I didnt ask her about setting up the date at a high point in the conversation which was my bad obviously and the conversation wasnt awkward)

I texted her tuesday and I told her the time to meet up and the restaraunt and she didnt respond that day (she works nights so I didnt really think it was a big deal)

Wednesday I texted her again:
Me: Hey! We still cool for today?
Her: Im in a work meeting sorry! And then I have to go home. My family is having a big BBQ... I thought it was tomorrow.
Me: oo lol... oops! Its all good we can just hang out tommorrow. Ill just call ya after work and we can figure out something

The following day:
Me: hey so apparently logans roadhouse is open til 10. Its the one right by east mall. Does around 630 sound cool with you?
Her: Im in Salina at a big family bbq love!
Me I thought that was yesterday?
Her: We have a dinner the 3rd and then a big bbq and fireworks the 4th

Obviously I was like well... son of beach!! lol!! But I didnt say anything past that. Im just trying to trouble shoot at this point as this has been happening quite often. Do you guys have any ideas as to what the problem could be? Could it be because I contacted her on sunday and didnt ask at the high point of the conversation when i set up that date? or I didnt talk to her before the date (I dont think its this one but maybe??). Maybe she was too shy to say that she couldnt go on the date? Or maybe she was just trying to keep me around just in case? idk confusing stuff lol.

I think you did everything pretty well. I do think you came off a little needy with your responses such as the one where she thought it was tomorrow and you immediately re-schedule for tomorrow (Don't be too available). Overall, it shouldn't have tanked for those reasons though. I would wait a few days and then text her once more seeking a meet, and cut it off if it was a flake afterwards.

Just be cool with it. If she loses interest, she'll stop agreeing to the plans when you reschedule, and then you go to find her replacement

Yeah ur right that was kinda needy. I was thinking the same thing before I sent it when I immediately rescheduled, but I also wanted to move fast with her just becuase its normally easier that way. But in that situation I shoulda told her that its all good and mentioned nothing about rescheduling and called her after a couple of days or so. I dropped the ball lol!
