Like many smart people out there, after the mandates hit, I left NYC. Now the skyrocketing crime rate, social and racial tensions which got worse after the pandemic, and also rents that went back up as things were getting "back to normal" had me leaving. I got sick and tired of how annoying New Yorkers became about being pro-mask and pro-vaccine and could no longer stand to be around them. Maybe one day I do go back but I have started to notice a trend in my circle.

I noticed that a lot of the people I partied with and then kept in touch with through social media have left NYC. Given that remote work has become the norm, I am seeing that more and more people are avoiding NYC even out of college now. I don't think NYC will remain a top city to meet women in 5 years from now given how things are going with mandates, a sh1tshow of a government, skyrocketing crime, high cost of living, and rise of remote work.

A couple of months ago, I went to Tampa and was amazed by the talent in the city. Tampa had almost as many hot girls I ran into that one night that Manhattan did. Now I am in South Florida and there is no drop off in talent either. It does seem like I noticed a trend when following women over social media who moved out of NYC. The ones who were tied down with a BF moved to Denver (ugh, blue state still) and Salt Lake City or any place with a good outdoor scene.

For the ones who remained single, it seems like all of them moved to bigger cities in red states without a lot of restriction.

Miami
Charleston
Tampa
Dallas (weirdly enough)
Nashville
and Kansas City

I talked to some of them too and they flat out said that NYC shutting down during the pandemic made them flee. When it came time to come back, some said that work was the main reason they were there and now that it can be done remote, they don't see the reason to be in NYC.

If I had it my way, I hope NYC does come back and doesn't implement any of the vaccine passport and totalitarian government BS but given how rotten the politics have become, I have my doubts.

Now I wonder if men looking to game should be thinking about cities in red states with minimal restrictions because it seems like a lot of women are pouring in there.

Having lived in both Texas and Florida within the past year, I can attest things are like 95% back to normal.

You'll see people in masks and minor restrictions (ex. work/college) but that's about it. Vax passports are not commonplace.

My understanding on NYC is that residents fled but are pouring back in as restrictions lessen. Curious if others are seeing this.

Nyc has been more restrictive than other places, but I don't think that will affect the # of attractive women that remain there. Sure you'll have an easier time with girls who grew up in conservative states because they give less fucks and are more adventurous, but most hot girls here aren't virtue signalers.

You're not gonna get mask shamed by hotties here generally because they usually don't wear it themselves unless they are required to. The women I knew who were the type to shame you for not wanting to wear a mask or get vaccinated and all that they weren't even hot to begin with. They were the emotional flimsy bitches you wouldn't even want to date in the first place so you'll automatically weed them out.

A lot of women will comply with rules just because they're not comfortable straying from the herd. So that's why they will wear it,but it's not because they truly believe it's immoral not to. Also I don't think i've ever been questioned if I was vaccinated by women I approached or was bothered by me not having a mask.

I think the logistics of a large city will still keep a lot of the attractive women here. Also it's just a pain to relocate in general.

A lot of what made NYC the best city in the US if not the world for meeting women is being slowly scrapped away. Even Fashion Shows are propping up plus sized models and coming under attack from the radical left. I think back to what made NYC great was the fact that politically, it was always a hands of type of a city. People might have voted Democrat but that didn't really mean shit because at the end of the day they went to work, make their money, and were too rude to care about political correctness. The old NYC elected Giuliani as mayor and after him Bloomberg, both very hands off type of mayors and far cries from the radical politicians that came to be.

Then, NYC elected the AOCs and De Blasio's. It does sound promising somewhat now that the new mayor is a former cop and even a former Republican.

The reason I bring all of this up is because politics is ultimately culture and impacts your day to day. I saw it happen over the years and a lot of it can be blamed on the techie woke crowd moving into the city from San Francisco. NYC effectively became San Francisco overtime as you saw pharmacies looted in broad daylight and the quality of women, although much better than The Bay, got a lot lower.

I remember when I was working in the office, our building slowly started getting more and more tech companies. You saw the hipsters and people who looked to be from the woke crowd a lot more.

Old NYC before that was rich alpha males, hot girls, and that brash attitude. The city has culturally transformed into being the future San Francisco and I saw a gradual decline over the years. That culture of rich alphas and hot girls slowly got replaced by the Williamsburg Beanie hipsters and their self-righteous pet piglet having girlfriends.

You still see enough hot girls but its like every year, the number dwindled down. Even Williamsburg during the early 2010s was a fun place with chill people but overtime it became more of a clout chasing culture full of wannabes that wanted to be cool.

From my circle, the people winning in life have left NYC already.

A lot of hot girls I met and followed on social media seem to have gone to Miami and more red states.

One promising thing is that the city has elected a more centrist mayor over full-blown communists which means that the city might have a comeback. I doubt it will be the top tier city it once was for dating due to how much Miami, Dallas, and other cities with a better quality of life for the average person have taken off.
