Better 30mins more or closer to your place?

I will be meeting a girl before her work in a different city of where I'm living.

I'm trying to push for 2h and closer to my place, but looks like I'll have to compromise between 1.5h or closer to my place.
The far away place, close to her work, would be a 20 minutes subway ride from my hotel.

Knowing the girl it's a bit of long short either way, but I believe closer to the hotel will give more chances?

Yep, I'd opt for shorter date time + better logistics every time. An extra 30 minutes of date time isn't going to make up for 20 more minutes of commuting to your place.

An alternative if you think she's a long shot is doing a quick informational date closer to her workplace, and then scheduling a second date later that's close to yours, if you think you need a little more time to warm her up before going in for the kill.
