I started reading this site in 2015, basically Id read hundreds of articles over a period over months for hours a day. I became really good at picking up girls.

The insights on here, if you can understand the mechanics - are mind blowing. Basically its weaponized psychology, incredibly powerful for controlling women.

What I would like to ask, is it possible for the minds here who dug through the mines of pua to give us the gems that became articles.. could do the same for business. Im about to start a sales job at a startup in ~10 days and would like to apply the same jiu jitsu I learned here for women, towards the field of business.

Can Chase or some other experts name me their top resources/books/whatever in business and sales?

My pua took me from an apartment in a dingy immigrant neighborhood to living in a 7.5 million dollar house in Palo Alto, Im not banging the owner but my gf lives 2 minutes away. The owner is a former COO of a company youve heard of and this whole fucking ride was due to PUA.

Basically, I want to get as good at business as I did at this thing called pick up. And this site along with goodlookingloser were the keys to that success. Sorry if thats advertising but I feel that they are a completely different approach then GC.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing all your thoughts and input, this is probably the best resource on the net for this kinda thing.

Sounds like a heck of a ride :)

Sure, here are some resources I've found particularly helpful:

  • The Millionaire Fastlane, by MJ DeMarco: great book for business/startup mindsets.
  • The Laws of Success, by Napoleon Hill. Important stuff, especially masterminds and transmutation.
  • Steve Jobs, by Walter Isaacson and Elon Musk, by Ashlee Vance. If you want ambitious role models, here you go.
  • Product Launch Formula, by Jeff Walker. Every business does product launches, including the Fortune 500s.
  • Hacker News. Just a useful dialogue on programming and startups.

I have a few friends who swear by the forums on TheVault.bz (now TheVault.click, apparently). Haven't used it much myself.

If you're doing any copywriting (ad copy, sales letter copy, newsletter copy), this Gary Halbert letter is particularly useful.

Working with a copy coach is also extremely useful, though expensive.

For hiring/contracting:

  • 99designs for design work (logos, website themes, book covers, app designs)
  • Fiverr for quick one-off jobs, especially animation, icons, landing pages
  • UpWork for everything else (developers, lawyers, bookkeepers, CRO specialists, you name it)
  • Guru is also good, though a bit unwieldy compared to UpWork

One very handy thing you can do for yourself is find a SMALL business mastermind you can join (or form with similarly-minded friends). Journal regularly, share ideas, brainstorm. When there are others around who are familiar with you and your business, but who aren't involved in it like you are, it's easier for them to see your blind spots and point those out. Napoleon Hill talks in-depth on masterminds in Laws of Success.

Hope this helps,

Chase

Chase, your advice is golden. Thank you.

A ride it has been. Good to see you.

-also a sidenote, if you read about Elon and that actress he divorced twice she said "he didnt have to take shit from anyone but he took it from me" Sounds like hes "beta" in his love life. He should be hiring a guy like you, you are probably the best dude on the planet for him.

I will apply the things you wrote.

Thank you!
