Hi,

Thanks for clicking, please help.

Around the start of this year I was in St. Martin. I met a girl at the hostel we were both staying at. We hung out every single day and night for five days and we connected super well. Maybe the coolest girl I've ever met in my life.

Now, I never made a move on her once, as I was focused on another girl (an ex-lover) who I was going to see again in the near future after not seeing her for many years and was thinking Id get back in a relationship with her. Not giving the St. Martin girl any attention (shes beautiful too) she always laid her head on me or tried to get close to me and I never reacted. Just stayed me.

When she left St. Martin she kept messaging me sometimes twice a week. She told me she got the visa to come to Australia (where I'm from) and would be flying in the same time I would be returning home (early sept). I've never had a girl this into me. Anyway, we kept commnicating all the way upto now (six months) and I always gave her short responses.

It didn't work out with the ex-lover of mine and so i recently started communicating more with the girl from St. Martin (American, from New York) than I usually do.

We were talking on snapchat through messages then i sent her one long message on messenger and five days later she has not replied! This is not like her at all!

I went through and read all the articles - like 'don't chase' and 'the law of least effort' seems fitting here but now I'm unsure how to act. We see each other again next month for the first time since the start of the year. I just want to go back to how I was before - "whatever happens happens" sorta attitude. Now I've built up this whole idea in my head about her because it took me a while to realize how well we connected because I was wrapped up in meeting my ex-lover.

Please help, should I response if she responds or ignore it too. Or what to do when we finally meet up.

I think it would reauire you posting the messenger conversation here, because simply sebding a long text does not mean it is automatic game over. You can screw it up with one liners as well. Whatever you sent her, it iether made her think, or she has a busy week. A friend of mine messaged me and my friends a week ago, I forgot about it, yesterday looked at and it was not a week he sent it, but two months! I was so busy I only remembered he wrote.

So, if you are not opposed to the idea, just share the conversation here and I am sure some more experienced board member will have something tangible to work with and help you.

Moving the convo to messenger. Yeah super excited to get home. It's coming upto two years now and I'm ready to move onto the next chapter in my life. Have learned so much and will be putting to use what I've learned to achieve great things. I'm still in LA bouncing around looking after dogs and cats. Got the closure I needed now so ready to go. The astrologist must have been crazy haha. I'd love to listen to it. You can send it to me if you like or you can show me when I see you.


we've talked on a deep level in the past so just rereading what I wrote now it still doesn't seem odd to me. this is the longest message ive ever sent by the way, she usually does more of the messaging. i hope it's ok. if we really have the connection it should be ok.
