I was reading the article How to Make and Find Female Friends and there it says that women have fewer, closer friendships, while men have many, but shallower ones.

I also remember you once linked to an article here on the boards about why men and women have it different seeing it from that perspective. It was a professor who wrote the article and he went to explain the differences from a historical perspective.

Do you have it? If so, could you give us the link?
