This is gonna be rather quick because it was not an outing as such I just happened to meet a girl. Also, I think I did a lot of mistakes so I could use some help correcting them.
I left my mandatory intern class (which is in a big tourist area) and had to go my office. I have to write 3 articles by monday. I haven't even started. I'm just reading seduction all day long which is a mistake but I have an addictive personalty and I can't seem to stop myself. Anyways, I figured I'm gonna eat regardless so I might as well eat outside.
I went to a burger joint. I was eating and reading lay reports and watching girls making eye contact. I finished my meal and I was drinking my tea and smoking. (Turkish tea is awesome.) I saw a cute chinese girl walking. I made eye contact and smiled. She smiled back a little and went inside the burger joint and spoke with the guy at the counter. She left and she was walking, when she came near me I opened her before she could walk past me.
- Aren't you going to eat?
- I'm not hungry. I ate. (Her English was bad, I had trouble understanding her and she had trouble understanding me)
- Then why did you go inside? (With a big warm smile)
She said something but I didn't understand it perfectly. Maybe she just repeated herself. I told her I saw her and thought she was cute so I wanted to meet with her. I thought she didn't understand so I told her she had a really cute smile so I wanted to introduce myself. She looked cute in an innocent / soft / naive way. Then I told her to join me for some tea. She said she had somethings to do. I told her she can drink a glass of tea with me for 5 minutes and go do her stuff after. I took my stuff from the chair across my table (which was the only place she could sit unfortunately). She sat I ordered 2 teas. The waitress smirked at me (glad to have an appreciative audiance). I think she joined me because I was really sincere when I said I liked her smile and wanted get to know her.
My overall demanor was very friendly throughout the whole interaction with some playfullness. I thought she looked inexperinced and soft so I had to rein in my sexiness. Well maybe not consciously but that's how I felt. I asked her how did she end up in Istanbul and she said vacation. I asked her why did she choose Istanbul and she looked at me as if she didn't understand the question (not in a is this guy for real way more like just confused). I told her so you just woke up one day and said I'll go to Istanbul. She said yes while nodding. Again she was just sincere, not cold not sarcastic. I said that's great and gave her a high five. I asked her if she came alone or with frienda. She said alone but she had a friend in Istanbul from Italy and she would be meeting with him tomorrow. I asked her what she studied and she said art. I had her show me some drawings she did and I told her it was really good. I asked playfully (with a smile) if she was the next picasso. Which is a mistake because this kind of tactic is best used on women who are a bit full of themselves, this girl was kinda shy when she showed me her drawing.
She wasn't contributing much to conversation, just answering my questions and looking at everything with big eyes as if she was seeing everything for the first time. Normally I'm not afraid to let conversation die out and put some pressure on the girl to contribute but I got the feeling she was socially awkard and wouldn't know how to keep the conversation going and the tension would be just too much for her. Evantually we got up. I started walking with her and asked her to come to a pub with me with great music. She said she wanted to do shopping I persisted and told her to come to the pub and after a beer she could go there. I used a yes ladder. Do you enjoy talking to me? Yes. Do you want to continue talking with me? Yes. (Even though she said yes I could see that I was losing her and she wasn't that interested.) Do you want to talk a bit more in the pub? She said she wanted to walk alone. I asked her if she was single. I have no idea why I said this lol. I knew it was the wrong thing to say as soon as the words left my mouth. I already opened her, why give her an excuse to screen herself out? She said no. I asked her if she had a husband playfully. She said no she had a boyfriend. I asked her is she was gonna ask her boyfriend that she met me, she said yes. I asked her if she was gonna tell her she would go to a pub with me, she said she was not going to. At that time I thought yeah ok, not gonna push the issue anymore so I gave her a kiss on the cheek and wished her an enjoyable stay. She said thank you and we parted ways.
She was never cold to me in the interaction. But maybe she was just uncapable of being cold, I don't know.
Should I have dialed up my sexiness instead of trying to come off friendly? (Like more sexy smile instead of more warm) Probably yes but still I'd like your input.
Should I have put some social pressure on her? I think I don't know how to do well with socially awkard girls.
I complimented her a lot. Might have come off try-hard. Should I compliment a girl more if she is not very confident or less?
(Just a caveat, just because she can travel a foreign county on her own doesn't mean she's very confident. I had a chinese fwb who was the most clingy, low self esteem girl I fucked and she travelled to lots of different countries by herself. Nice soul. I always felt bed after I fucked her because I knew %100 she wanted more. But I like to think after one year of being my friend she was braver and more confident)
What are my other mistakes I missed?
I wasn't smooth at all today. But writing this made me realize I learned a lot from this failure which is great.
