Alright that's it, I've officially regressed back to the beginners board! (seriously though, newbies, nothing against it. It's a good place to start... I'm here myself restarting a bit)
So I'm picking up again after getting out of a serious LTR and being thrown back into a place of scarcity (I blame the lack of people nearby for this but I should be able to adjust anyway). I'm in a place of bad momentum after spending a month moping around and dreaming of facing off with everything and everyone like a caveman equivalent of kill bill (Don't we all just miss the days where we could just resolve a problem with a rock or a big stick sometimes???). And from the times that I did see an approach opportunity (once even a blatant approach invitation from a barmaid), I make some lame ass excuse not to. The few times I forced myself, the conversations felt forced and awkward half the time (the other times I was good... but a bit rusty and probably outdated somewhat). So it's clear that I'm dealing with approach anxiety again (this was problematic during my relationship too, how do you think I found myself in scarcity after we split? It also made attempts at threesomes disappointing to both of us).
With all this shit I gotta work on in mind, let me get to the question that i'm most curious about: As someone who is currently in a small, mostly isolated town, aside from the community college I'm going to (which is also somewhat small), what should or can I do to best prepare to move into a university (it has party reputation and population similar to that of fucking NYC)? I've got about 3 months and I want to go in ready to start off (and remain) well off in abundance (sexually and socially speaking). What should I expect? I've toured the campus already but still have no idea what to expect in terms of the social landscape (other than the fact that apparently bedroom eyes are not rare on campuses... for anyone... and I don't mean sleepy). I don't even know if I should start off with a traditional communal dorm room or a dorm room that looks more like an apartment and gives my roommate and I our own bedrooms as well as bathrooms.
