Conversation in between meeting and bedroom

Hello gents,

I've got a question. Assume you've seduced a girl, and invite her back to your place and she agrees to come over. I feel that I'm usually comfortable in the setting wherever I meet the girl, and I'm even comfortable when she's at my place, but does anyone else feel that the time in between is nerve wracking, when you're physically in the process of taking her to your place or going to her place? It becomes, at least for me, the feeling that sleeping with the other is on both of our minds, but no one wants acknowledges it (regardless of whether or not I manage to close), which is an uneasy feeling. And from the articles on the site, I know that it's the last 5% that can really f*** you over if you don't execute it perfectly. So how do smooth over conversation naturally during the intermediate steps?

Light teasing and small talk keeps the mood easy.

It's like any form of tension: too much and the girl feels the need to exit, or too little and the girl doesn't feel excited. Light teasing and small talk keeps the mood light without releasing much tension, I find.
