I just read this article about communication styles in conversation:

Pretty interesting. A lot of women especially tend to do this cooperative overlapping and I know how to adapt to it for the most part, but I generally find myself preferring the "wait for a pause" style so that I can be more present to everything the other person is saying.

Yeah, it’s a bitch when you’re trying to explain something to a woman and she keeps interrupting you.

But that’s how they communicate. 😅

actually i lack patience and like people to get to the point vs rambling.... So i constantly interrupt.... "get to the point" this actually has cause me problems with women, i have tried to be quiet and let them ramble but is not working...

Same with my elderly clients, they like to ramble... I tell them "no story telling", nyorkers, elderly, women and some puas like to ramble and ramble (even in posts) drive me insane.... I will not mention some posters, but is not only women.... again some puas, some nyorkers, some elderly, and yes some women just ramble and ramble vs getting to the point...

one time it got so bad i had to take a "sensitivity training" cause of this.... @Michael Chief thanks for the article actually help me put things in perspective...
