Creative Ways to Ask to Take Pictures

I always try to get photos with my buddies or with girls when I'm at a party or hanging out. But 50% of the time, it doesn't get taken or I'll say "Let's take a picutre" and it goes ignored. So what are your tactics or creative ways for getting a photo for an instagram or with a hot girl? Or just being in lots of photos for social media? I know it is and should be simple, but this has been troubling me for the past couple of days, especially at parties. Hoping your tactics can instill a little confidence in me to get that perfect shot next time I go out

Don't use social media and you won't have to worry about it. That's my personal take on things.

Validation is nice but beware of it's addictive tendencies.

Very true Rob but it's just something that has been bothering me lately and would like the luxury of knowing what to do

Part of what Rob is getting at is that social media is "women's domain." Men don't ask to take pictures of themselves or friends; that's a woman thing. There's no "sneaky" way of requesting a photo with friends. If you really want one, just bust out your camera phone and be like "picture time, everyone! Let's do this," and then grab a friend and pull him or her inward until people follow along. Basically, you don't "request" that a picture be taken -- you just make it happen.

Like I said, this is something that women mostly do. So don't be too surprised that friends (and especially guys) aren't really too interested in making it happen sometimes.
