So going back to game after many years of serious relationships made me realize the dating advice realm has become way more competitive than it used to be. Back in the day, I mostly read articles on this blog (+ an old ebook from Chase) and watched videos from the RSD gang (which now seem to have split and gone their separate ways).
Two things in particular got me scratching my head.
1) There is now a lot of content from dating coaches negatively reviewing (if not right down bashing) other coaches in the pick-up/game community. For example, I recently watched a video of John Anthony completely roasting Todd, whose advice was actually very helpful to me back in the day. I am now thinking: is certain advice only partially valid (meaning it helps you get results but it requires you to do much more work that you're supposed to)? How do you deal with these cases of conflicting info?
2) Another thing I noticed is that women are getting a bigger piece of the "pick-up advice for men" market. They have always given advice to both men and women on romance and long-germ relationships but now some of them (like Marni or some non-English female coaches in other countries I have lived in) are now directly competing with male pick-up coaches, and they seem to have a significant number of followers, many of which claim to have really benefited from these women's advice. I always assumed that "you shouldn't take dating advice from women" is the number one rule for guys, but is it really so?
