I was excited all year for approaching women during holiday shopping, but am not getting any results. This week I decided to hit daygame everyday after 5pm and get holiday shopping done too. I've been approaching the same 5 shopping centers for 3 months and noticed a trend since black friday: no women shopping by themselves, just couples! Department, sport, boutiques, lingerie, home goods, novelty, grocery and bookstores are slammed with couples this time of year.
I made 11 approaches on solo or group girls this week that had a boyfriend/husband in the store at the same time! My approaches scared the daylights out of the girl(s) and got common reactions:
"OMG, what?! I saw you look at me earlier, but am with my boyfriend/husband." or "Quite down, shhhh! My boyfriend/husband is in the other aisle now."
Two times a guy would walk back to the girl(s) in the middle of the conversation, but in a crowded store they had no idea what happened. I would stare at a product on the shelf until the guy with the girls(s) would walk away. In fact, I see strangers making small-talk frequently at large department and grocery stores, ie. "sorry I bumped your cart!" or "what type of mayo is that for?"
