Hey everyone, I had a weird thing happen to me just today. I had a friend whom I knew from college who I haven't talked to in like 3 years. Recently, she wanted to visit me in New York and was pretty enthusiastic about it. She was going to be in New York for a week. She arrived Saturday and I assumed that she just wanted to be friends, which I was ok with. However, she did start to touch me on the elbow every time we said something funny, and touched me about 15 times or more total, which I found to be strange. Furthermore, I kept talking about other girls I was dating and how I was with them. It seemed every time I did that, she threw a jealous look.
Finally, today she made some excuse that she needed to go back early and that she thought she was bothering me. I am currently staying at a place that is a bit subpar and so originally thought that it was this reason -- that she didn't like her so called vacation at my place. However, I noticed her behavior to want to go back home increased each time I was talking about the different girls I was meeting. My question is, is there a chance this so called friend of mine visited me for the sole purpose of wanting something more? Her last boyfriend was obtained by visiting the guy as a friend and getting things on, it bothers me to think that this was her intention, does anyone have any ideas? thanks!
