Dilemma with girl.....

I went on a date with a girl but we didn't go all the way (penetration)
I text this girl a week after we met up and ask how her schedule looks like?
She replies: she's at her aunties house and is redecorating.

A week after I text her again to see if she's free and she says
"Sorry last few days have been hectic with painting nd then one grandad passed away so had to go all the way to London nd bk"
The girl has already explained to me her grandads health issues beforehand so I know she's not lying about that.
Do you think I should carry on persisting or just forget it?

Keep in mind it's been 2 weeks since our 1st date.

2. Throw the ball in her court. Say something like, "Yo darling you text me when you wanna hang." That way you're not chasing her around and shit. If she ever texts you then you know she's interested.
