I am thinking of getting my left ear pierced so that I can begin wearing stainless steel (and later gold) studs. I have wanted to do this since I was 17 years old (when I used to watch and listen to B2K).

I made an appointment for 29th December but I shifted it to later in the month of January.

I think it makes older guys (30s) look a little bit sexier since it isn't very common where I live (not USA)... what do you guys think?

i had my 2 ears pierced 18 years ago. Aka 18 years out of style, so it will make you look behind fashion trends...

It isn't popular in my location, so perception would likely be different.

I’m way younger than you, and have had both of my ears pierced for years. I say yes. I have a small nose stud as well. It gives you edge. Girl’s don’t really bring it up but I think it’s something little that contributes.

You might not see any noticeable results but I think it’s just one of those little things that helps when it does.

I'll start out with just my left ear and see how it goes.

I see guys wearing studs and it can be a good look on them so I don't believe it's out of style. It depends who's wearing them and how it looks. I think it's more suited for guys with shorter hair.

I've been wearing my left earring for a few months now, I like it. I see it as a form of peacocking. If Mystery can pick up women with a feather boa and a top hat, I can sport an earring.

Also adds a feminine touch to my face. I have very masculine features and I'm very tall, the earring dampens that intimidating look a bit and makes me more approachable.

Plus I live in the south of France, a LOT of italians here have earrings for some reason. Definitely not out of fashion in these places.

It will show you are out of sink with fashion trends and styles unless you are a emo, rock, is out of style...
I am not after being more fashionable, I am trying to add a lit more sexiness/edginess to my fundamentals. I don't really follow fashion trends. If it negatively affects my results with ladies, I'll just stop wearing earrings.

I have shorter hair and my hair style is sort of like my avatar (Wesley Snipes in Blade).

It depends of your context/environment/country. In some countries, it may look odd. In others, it may look trendy.

Yea... the kind that C.Ronaldo uses looks good... but mine would obviously be fake diamonds.
I recommend diamond studded, they sparkle in the light and draw attention :D

It depends where you live my guy. London it’s still cool, depending on who you are. At the end of the day if it fits your style it fits. I think it’s more important to work with your own look. It’s not necessarily about following trends either, which in some places can seem ‘basic’.

Context/location dependent.

don’t count yourself out hahaha, diamond earrings are actually pretty cheap. The low karat ones. You could probably find some on sale for as low as 80usd

Check Macys or some other major department store that carries jewelry not sure where you reside.

ha man i wish :D I've been here a while, I can kind of hold a conversation, but far from being able to speak in a business context for instance.

give me 2 beers and a girl to chat with and i'm as fluent as anyone though lol

Eh bien!... J'étudie le français depuis plus de 18 mois pour réussir avec brio à l'examen TEF. J'écris et lis assez bien mais je ne parle pas très couramment puisque je n'ai pas d'interlocuteurs avec qui parler.
