He/she will be surrounded by supporting figures, other people with good genes who are smart, and learn from them the skills needed to grow and succeed.

Then take some kid who's being raised by a single mom with solid genes, but lives in poverty, was raised with poor parenting because of the mom juggling all of her responsibilities and a low income - it's going to be much more difficult for this kid to succeed in society, even if he's naturally smarter and stronger than the next kid. Many people around the kid will be poor influences, and this kid has a higher chance of turning into the thug/drunk you're talking about.

Also, knocking some bitch up with your superior genes doesn't lower any chances of her still getting knocked up by some thug/drunk, then having 2+ kids to support.. making the child's development even more of a struggle.


So, I stand by the idea that humans are dynamic and it's more the environment that shapes the individual.

So on a serious note I think the reason I don't travel to 3rd world countries to impregnate and dump handfuls of women so that country can be blessed with superior genes is because I'm only half of the equation.

I'd still have to go through the process of screening for women that'd have superior genes, women that are going to be good mothers, women who have the resources to raise a healthy child, and so on. Otherwise if he genes suck, she is a terrible mother, and has no resources then the kid is probably going to grow up fucked up and probably add to more problems than not... People in poverty can have really good genes but are often stuck in their positions solely based on environmental factors - even if they have relatively high IQ's they hardly ever get a chance to use it to better the situation of themselves or their families.

Linda Tirado's book, Hand to Mouth shows this pretty clearly. The book, while anecdotal, managed to get her out of poverty because of how many individuals who had lived in poverty (or were familiar with the realities of it) resonated with it. She's no idiot.

You could have another family in some remote country that your first family would have no clue of. Two things I thought right off the bat:

1. You can't do it in the Western World.
Or at least I don't see how you can do it in the Western world. Here in Europe if you make a child you just cough up the money.
The courts will make sure you do.
Actually, it's the other way around here: you gotta be careful NOT to knock up a girl or she'll automatically gets your money.
And if you own a house... The courts will throw YOU off in the street.

I'm astonished at reading people here talking so easily about sex without a condom.
Or as if it were something you just end up doing eventually.
I'm getting close to 100 and I can recall all the girls I've done it without because... It's very, very few. All of them were "safe" (I was the second man, we had been seeing each other for a while etc. etc.).
