I was watching this video and the dude seems above average to me, says he has 2% success rate.

I am assuming this guy was spam approaching, this guy doesn't seem socially awkward to me.

Look at some of the comments, even from Wheat Waffles agreeing with this guy:
"I like the honesty. SO many pickup coaches and stuff are SO full of shit lol. IF they have a really high conversion rate, I promise it's a mixture of being good looking and/or going for girls slightly below your SMV, and/or gaming in certain destinations where it's easier etc (white guy in South east asia or whatever). There is NO jedi level based on 'skill' where you can kinda get any girl you want as some of the books etc would have you believe. Attraction is largely decided by her before you even finish your opener, and it's very hard (or impossible) to move that needle much and CREATE attraction. You often see it in infields where guys are teasing and using pushpull and cold reads and all that (apparent) 'attraction material' but it just delays the rejection. She didn't change her mind of her level of attraction."

Same guy saying this:
"
I've never had a coach, but I've read ALL the books and watched ALL the paid/premium programs that exist. And i've made hundreds and hundreds of approaches myself. I've had some amazing results, but i've also had spells where i'm literally making like 100 approaches with nothing at all to show for it lol. And not one PUA concept could change the outcomes of them rejections as far as i'm concerned. I've tested them all.

"

What do you guys think?

20 lays in a year, it's 3x more than the average male will get in a lifetime. He's also in his first year of practice, he hasn't honed the skill to get the success rate higher. Also 2 top tier girls that most people won't get over the course of their entire life. Conversion is a different story, but anyway, to me that seems just about right.

Hundreds and hundreds of approaches are a drop in the bucket. The actual guys who you'd call MPUAs, in the case of an RSD tyler have put in thousands of approaches a year for a decade straight to achieve unlimited abundance. Whether this many is needed is probably arguable, but I'd also say people have different levels of talent. Assuming that you have an average social intuition and aren't judiciously assessing each interaction, I'd say that for somebody to claim that it's impossible is premature at only a couple hundred approaches.
