In this article Responding to interruptions, Chase advises that when a girl interrupts you Drop and Hang:

The way you’ll react with a drop and hang is that you’ll listen patiently, though not 100% attentively – have an expression almost like you are considering some new information someone is putting forward, but you’re still a bit skeptical. However, I wanted to know, is it also a recommended way of dealing with interruptions in a conversation that has not a romantic intent? Like a conversation with friends ad family. (both men and women).

I'm Mediterranean and most of us like to interrupt each other and we end up many times talking over-each other, not so smooth. So, I'm looking for a more socially savvy way of dealing with that in general. And wondered if that same way of dealing with a girl would apply to other types of conversations.
