Does getting lots of attention from men help with getting women

So i'm wondering, if you're on a night out, and you're getting a lot of attention from gay men, and women see you're getting all this attention from those men, does it count as preselection and does it help with attracting more women? Interesting concept and would be interesting to see what you guys think.

It depends on the nature of the attention from the men, and what those men look like.

When you run pickup bootcamps, for instance, you suddenly discover it is about 10x easier to get laid than usual because the guys are usually decently cool, and the women notice that they are coming to you, you are in some sort of official / advisory role over them, you are instructing them on what to do, and you are an authority. The women don't know the dynamic... they don't realize you are having them approach girls... they just pick up that these guys are deferring to you as some sort of authority. They read the body language, voice tones, etc. You start getting AIs like crazy and the girls you open just blow open for you.

On the other hand, if you go out with a group of buddies and sit at a table and everyone is laughing and joking around as friends, that makes it somewhat easier to approach, but not as easy as when you are the clear authority figure.

There's an attainability element as well. e.g., go out with a really cool buddy, just you and him, and shoot the shit with each other in a bar for while, having a great time just chatting with each other, and when you come up for air and look around you will usually notice a couple of hot girls standing around you preening themselves, who open readily as soon as you talk to them. Sometimes they will get impatient waiting for you to notice them and may open you themselves.

Also, just being the social guy working the venue, chatting up groups of cool guys, then mixed sets with guys and girls, then girl groups -- that will get you much easier opening in general with girls as well. You look like some popular guy, or an authority figure, etc.

Ok thanks. What about if the nature of the attention from those men is flirtatious/sexual (because they're gay), and it's clear to women that those men are attracted to you and trying to flirt with you, but you reject those men (because you're straight), and women see all of this. How does this affect attraction and interest from women?

I've spent plenty of time in gay-friendly venues, but not enough where I'm getting swarmed by thirsty dudes directly in front of girls. Usually it's more subtle, like a guy grabbing my ass where a girl can't see it or offering to buy me a drink. Me brushing him off is equally subtle. It's not really on display.

I've had fag hag girls get really into me while they were hanging out with their gay friends. Presumably the girl + gay guys were all comparing notes on me and that got the girl revved up. Haven't had it happen directly from girls seeing gay dudes hit on me though.

Having obvious gay men hitting on you counts as social proof. Introducing girls to gay friends/ gay guys you have just mer is social proof.

However they need to look clearly gay from distance - have obvious gay vibe and look flashy. Preferably they need to look and act feminine.

How many times have I gotten freebies thanks to gay men!!!

However if they don't come off as gay (many gay men have 0 gay vibe and some are even very masculine) this will not work. It will be like having a bunch of bros around you: nothing special basically.

Trannies work even better. I love having tranny friends - especially if they are well done and look good (all things considered) - even though it would be inapppropriate to label transexuals "men".

Both provide social proof. But in addition, you also come off as non-judgemental which is a serious bonus. Lastly it also displays tons of sexual confidencd. I remember this chick last summer praising me for "going out with my gay friends". She ended up hooking well and eventually went home with me.

(Fun fact: having obvious lesbian women around you will NOT give you social proof)

Also feel free to playfully flirt with gay men, dance with them (but shut down any escalation attempts and make it clear that you are straight to them).

It is basically the equivalent of female attention whoring.


It will take some time to calibrate properly as there is a risk of you coming off as gay to women. It requires you to be able to fully convey to women that you are straight : the earlier the better.

Beware of massive amounts of shit tests coming your way from women (e.g. "are you sure you are not at least a little bit gay... it is ok to be gay you know") If you cant handle them you are screwed. If you do, you win big. It all depends on your frame control (like with any other situations : pick up IS frame control).

Obviously is geographical and venue dependent.... Now a days regular clubs are inundated with gay population something new with the zoomers i guess..(was not like this back in the days)

if is a group of 2 or 3 feminine gay guys together, it just help subcommunicate you are not judgemental. But just brief interaction you don't want to get confused....

now if is a gay dude/tranny/s and you are Briefly shooting the shit, just helps you call attention(maybe get an ai)... On the other hand, sometimes they open or get open by a lot by women for attention whoring which you may take advantage of and interact with them....

The thing is sometimes is a gay guy/guys with girls, if you get through and pass the gay guys shit test (they will flirt with you, shit test you etc... looking for anti gay vibes), if you get pass this, you will get the girl, or they will help you get the girl....

to answer your post i would say you are focusing on the wrong thing.... Is not the social proof you get by getting attention of a lot of women, attention from a lot of women is key... Attention form gay guys is ok but not the same potency, unless they gay guy/tranny with women you are interested in......
