Elevated shoes: yes or no?

At times I've given a thought about elevated shoes but always opted for no and anyways always had the excuse "can't find them of the right quality".

Now I don't have that excuse anymore as I found a homepage with Italian made ones so I'm forced to give it a second thought.

What do you think about those?
It feels a little bit as being a fake to me.
If height is not there is just not there, you can pretend a bit for a bit of time, but then first or later you gotta take them out.

Your thoughts?

Height is only going to be an issue when you suddenly drop in height. I think you already know they're not worth the effort.

I got a pair now.

I think they can be useful when doing a presentation close to someone tall and/or when (eventually) going out on some blind dates through some websites with people you wouldn’t be interested in a deeper relationship (ie: you don’t know how tall they are, your goal is same day lay and appearing taller or at least not shorter than they are does improve your chances).
