I can't be the only one who's ever thought about this. How could I pull this off or what could I hope to accomplish in a very short time frame?
I'm also looking at realistic expectations here.
This post is also in response to "How to Pick Up Women in Your Day-to-Day Life" by Denton Fisher who also referred another article about How to Pick Up Women at Work (which I never bothered to read because I would never dream of doing that where I work--Ever! I work for a small company of 10). But there has to be way to pull this off and looking for some creative ways to do it. There's also some cute girls on my floor in other offices/companies.
Okay, here's the scenario. I saw this cute girl in the elevator about 6 months ago for literally 60 seconds or less.
Six months later (last month, July), I get on the elevator to go grab lunch and she's there talking with another guy (don't know if they work together or what). On the way down I overhear the guy talk to her about setting her up with his friend. And she says she's single and I'm thinking to myself, I've got to get to know this girl fast. We all get off the elevator and the guy's friend is right there waiting for them. Situation blown...crap!
Two days later, out of nowhere, she pops into the elevator going up with me and no one else. And all I could say was "Hi." WTF! It literally only takes about 20 seconds to reach my floor from ground level. She's about 6 floors above me.
Okay Chase and Gang, write an article about that! On your mark...get set...Go! Lol!
I work in a high rise building in downtown San Diego that has about 34 floors. Like most high rises, it has separate banks of elevators for the upper and lower floors. So I mostly only see people in the lower bank of elevators. If I had to guess the population of the whole building, it would be between 1500 to 2000 people...not sure, but it's a lot. I'm just thinking that there other guys out there in other major cities riding up and down elevators...can it be done? Any stories, ideas or thoughts appreciated. Thanks!
