FR from last Sunday.
Was out day gaming with @Skippy and we went to the park. I’ve been experiencing AA, so told him to start pointing to girls, and I’d be forced to approach them.
He points at a girl leaving the park and I go after her. That goes nowhere, but on the way back, I see a girl reading a book on a bench. I sit next to her, airpod in my ear. Eventually I open situationally talking about how reading at the park is too distracting because you start focusing on the people.
From here she hooks pretty hard, and some simple flirting ensues. I can tell she’s intrigued and interested. So I deep dive a bit, and I get the vibe that she would be down for an instadate. I also suggest drinks later in the week which she dodges. She’s an intern and leaving in 2 weeks, so I figure it’s now or never. I plant a seed of my favorite chocolate spot. Then in a few minutes I suggest she join me. She enthusiastically agrees.
So we start walking. I’m leading, still no kino. I do a little bit of discretion gambits talking about small town culture vs being in a large city. Eventually we end up at the coffee spot, and I order something. We sit and chat while that’s being made. I have her tell me some interesting stories since she’s been in the city. She can’t think of any, and gives me a pretty light story that isn’t that good. She returns the question, so I tell her I have a range of stories, some more wild than others, and I’m not sure what she can handle. She doesn’t bit on this, so I tell her a more tame story, one that still displays some good value on my side. She then tells a story and displays more wildness. I compliment on her non-judgemental attitudes because she tells me about how her friend went home with someone the night before.
I did some push-pull, as well as some qualifiers, and we eventually arrive where I want to have the deeper talks. Unfortunately there’s not a single spot to sit in the area, and at this point the vibe breaks, and the girl immediately tells me she’s leaving. I ask if she wants to meet later in the week, and she says that she’s good and leaves.
